Da Nang aims to vaccinate 20,000 people daily
The Da Nang government has issued a plan for carrying out its COVID-19 vaccine campaign for the city’s population during the 2021-2022 period.

The city targets to vaccinate 90% of of adults who will be eligible to get a coronavirus vaccine. About 20,000 people will be inoculated every day in Da Nang as soon as there are enough shots for everyone.
All adults in Da Nang will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine with a focus on the top 16 priority groups in accordance with the guidance produced by the Ministry of Health.
In its efforts to achieve the aim of reviving the economy and normalising life, the Da Nang government is urging the health agency to work with relevant units to prepare plans for a mass vaccination campaign for the city’s population as soon as the city receives enough vaccine doses for everyone.
Healthcare workers will play the lead role in vaccination with police, military personnel, and others involved.
The health agency will set up from 100-110 vaccination sites across the city in addition to two others at the Da Nang General Hospital to inoculate about 20,000 people each day. All the venues will do temperature checks on people before entry allowing space for social distancing and a 30-minute recovery time.
