In detail, the first one is the 58-year-old owner of Le Hung denture service facility and a land plot for lease by the Bonpas Bakery & Coffee at 143 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thanh Khe District. This site is near the Duy Tan Plastics Company whose security guard previously contracted the virus.

On June 28, the female patient started showing symptoms of fever and cough. On Thursday afternoon, the patient went to the Thanh Khe Medical Centre for examination. Here, she had her swab samples taken for COVID-19 testing. At 6:00pm on the same day, she was confirmed to have contracted the virus.

Upon being informed of this new COVID-19 case, the local medical authorities raced against time to speed up tracing, isolating and testing of all contacts of new COVID-19 cases in a bid to slow the spread of the virus.

Two of them are the woman’s daughters tested positive for COVID-19, whilst 288 others were confirmed being free from the virus, and the test results of the remaining ones have yet to be released.
