Da Nang reports 26 COVID-19 cases on July 25
Twenty-six COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Da Nang on Sunday, July 25, of whom 21 were detected during mandatory quarantine periods, whilst the remaining ones were found in the community, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control announced.
There are currently two infection chains which are at a high risk of further spread, namely to the Da Son slaughterhouse with 24 positive cases spotted till date, and the Tho Quang fishing wharf with 19 cases.
In particular, the infection chain at the Viet Hoa Electronics Company based in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park is still highly transmissible with 9 positive cases logged on July 25, bringing the total infections to 178 till date.
The total infections recorded in the city have climbed to 404 since July 10 when a local man in Cam Le District’s Hoa Xuan Ward was confirmed contracting the virus after many days of no community transmissions in the city.
