Da Nang resumes beach swimming from July 10
Beaches are allowed to reopen to the public with some restrictions from Saturday, July 10. Swimming is permitted at beaches from 4.30 am to not later than 8:00am, and 4.30pm to not later than 7:00pm.
Swimming is only permitted in the designated areas. Bans on gatherings, drinking and eating, selling food, on the beaches still remain in place.
All of the beach-goers must strictly comply with mandatory safety measures against the deadly virus, including wearing face masks before and after swimming, only taking off masks whilst swimming, keeping a distance of at least 1m from others, avoiding spending time in crowded places or in groups during their strolls and physical activities on beaches.
The beach showers remain closed until further notice, along with catering and other services on beachfront parks and pavements in all sidewalks of beaches are still banned. Street vendors are prohibited from touting for business along beaches.
Besides, indoor and outdoor fitness and sports activities, except for physical and sports activities at the gym, yoga and billiards are allowed to resume their operations.
Those who display fever, cough, breathing difficulties or their family members put under medical quarantine as prescribed, and arrivals to Da Nang from coronavirus-affected localities without making declarations are strictly forbidden to go to training fields, sports practice areas.
