Da Nang strengthens contact tracing efforts to break chains of COVID-19 transmission
Mr Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, the Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People's Council on Thursday afternoon called on the health agency and relevant units to strengthen contact tracing, active case finding, isolation, cluster investigation, and testing at all levels in efforts to break the chains of COVID-19 transmission following a spike in community cases.

Deputy Secretary demanded district authorities to promote the use of all channels available, including the switchboard 1022, for publicizing the city’s new restrictions in a bid to strongly encourage each individual in the city to take action to keep themselves and others safe and healthy.
Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh urged community COVID-19 task force to uphold their role in enhancing surveillance advisory, monitoring and preventing the spread of the virus. The heed should be paid on strengthening COVID-19 regulations in all managed isolation sites for the primary close contacts and returnees from COVID-19 affected areas.
Chairman Chinh also called for stricter enforcement of and adherence to existing public health measures across the city in efforts to tackle rising cases.
