Six hotels used as designated quarantine facilities

Six hotels which together offer 378 rooms and 639 beds in total are available for returnees from HCMC. Included are one hotel offering free meals and accommodation for quarantined people, and some others providing free of charge accommodation or discounting their room rates for their special guests.

Risemount Premier Resort located at 120 Nguyen Van Thoai Street, My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District is one of quarantine hotels which offer free of charge food and accommodation for quarantined people. Currently, more than 110 rooms in this hotel are available for returnees to stay in managed isolation while service staff, security guards and facilities are ready to serve their special guests.

Staff at all six hotels have already trained to serve quarantine purposes. Strictest health measures are being put in place at these hotels with a focus on stringent adoption of advice and guidance for infection prevention and control from the municipal government and health bodies in order to keep hotel staff and their guests safe.

Free of charge airport pickups for returnees

After getting off a plane, returnees will be transported on shuttle buses to the terminal building. They will be required to complete a mandatory health form, have their body temperature checked, disinfect their hands upon arrival at the Da Nang Airport. Then, they will be segregated for quarantine hotels.

Mr. Ngo Tan Nhi, Director General of Vitraco Tourism & Transportation Connection Company Limited said that Vitraco offers free of charge twelve 45- seater coaches to take returnees directly from the airport to their quarantine hotels. All drivers of these coaches have already attended a training course organised by the municipal Centre for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure safety during transport of people from COVID-19 affected areas.
