Disinfectant spraying on Nguyen Phuoc Nguyen Street due to possible coronavirus exposure
Staff members from the Centre for Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear Incident Response in Central Viet Nam under the Chemical Corps, on Wednesday morning, conducted the spraying of disinfectant in neighbourhoods around Nguyen Phuoc Nguyen Street in An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District after the fresh detection of a new COVID-19 case here.

According to Major Nguyen Van An, the Commander of the Centre for Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear Incident Response, 7 specialised vehicles and a total of 35 officers and soldiers were assigned to carry out the disinfectant spraying as a preventive measure against the coronavirus.
In parallel, the functional forces use portable sprayers to disinfect all stalls in the Thuan An Market, along with houses, alleys, and shops nearby a hair salon shop at 278 Nguyen Phuoc Nguyen Street whose female owner is infected with COVID-19.
Chairman of the An Khe Ward People's Committee Le Huu Khanh said, upon the detection of the coronavirus-infected woman, venues linked to her have been sealed off, and all residents are now asked to stay indoor area and limit contact with others.
On Tuesday evening, a total of 351 residents from 60 families living in the sequestered sites had their nasal swab samples taken for COVID-19 testing, and their test results will be released soon.
