Temporary closure of Tran Dinh Tri traditional market linked to COVID-19 case
The Lien Chieu District authorities temporarily suspended the operation of the Tran Dinh Tri traditional market in Hoa Minh Ward at 7:00am on Friday as a COVID-19 case had frequently gone to this venue to buy things for her family’s daily needs whilst being infectious with the virus.
The district authorities have identified this place as potentially being at high risk of COVID-19, and imposed a temporary close order on this place.
The total 100 stall holders at this market had their nasal swab samples taken for COVID-19 testing on Friday morning.
All of the stall holders are urged to stay at home and limit their contact with others while waiting for their coronavirus test results.
The spraying of chemical disinfectants has been carried out in this place and surrounding areas in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, shoppers who come to the market from noon to 6:00pm on July 12 should immediately contact the Hoa Minh Ward Healthcare Station or the nearest medical facility to make medical declarations and receive supportive measures against COVID-19.
Previously, on May 14, this market was also subject to a temporary closure order over its links to COVID-19 cases.
