77 more people in Da Nang discharged from hospital after coronavirus treatment

Seventy-seven more people in Da Nang have been given their medical all clear after COVID infections. They left the field hospital, the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang Medical Centre on Saturday, August 28, after making a full recovery from the illness.

All patients’ clinical status is appropriate for discharge, and assessed to have stable and recovering respiratory function.

They have made a full recovery following three negative tests for the virus, 24 hours apart. They are no longer contagious and pose no risk to the public.

After discharges, the recoveries must complete 14 days isolation at home, and undergo COVID-19 testing in line with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.

The number of patients that have been discharged from Da Nang hospitals after recovering from coronavirus has reached 292 since August 25.

Currently, 1,688 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 325 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 92 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.

Overall, 2,105 people, including 64 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 136 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 71 others came back negative twice.
