Additional 65 patients in Da Nang discharged to home following COVID-19 recovery
Sixty-five more people were released from the field hospital, the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre on Friday, August 27, after being treated for COVID-19, Doctor Ngo Thi Kim Yen, the Director of the municipal Department of Health has confirmed.
All of them were given the all-clear following thrice consecutive negative test results, and they show overall stable status, vital signs, normal organ function and improved chest X-ray readings.
After discharges, the recoveries must complete 14 days isolation at home, and undergo COVID-19 testing in line with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.
The number of patients that have been discharged from Da Nang hospitals after recovering from coronavirus has hit 215 since August 25.
Currently, 1,597 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 321 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 89 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 2,007 people, including 59 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 169 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 59 others came back negative twice.
