We have observed at all vaccination sites that strictest health measures are being put in place at these venues in efforts to keep health workers and vaccine recipients safe. Police, military personnel, militia, union members and volunteers are guiding people who come to get vaccinated against COVID-19 to queue and keep a safe distance from others, have their body temperature checked, and declare their health status while waiting for their turn.
People who come to get vaccinated are required to undergo medical checks, and they are provided with medical advice and post-vaccination 90-minute observation. Health workers are prepared to treat immediate allergic reactions after vaccination.
Healthcare workers are taking the responsibility for 5 - 6 areas for injection in each vaccination site, and about 200 people are allowed to get vaccinated in each area a day. Each vaccination site has separate entrance and exit points for people who get vaccinated as a COVID-19 precautionary measure to protect their safety.
