Da Nang police officer helps mother-to-be safely give birth at home
Lieutenant Pham Tu Luc, from the Hoa Ninh Commune Police, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang has joined with a medical staffer to help a mother-to-be give birth at home in a safely manner.
According to the Hoa Ninh Commune Police, early Friday morning, a local heavily pregnant woman went into labor, which prompted her family to contact the commune-level Health Station for urgent support.
However, because her home is located in the mountainous area, the Head of the Hoa Ninh Commune Health Station Nguyen Thi Minh Tram contacted the commune’s police force to ask for assistance.
Upon receiving the emergency call, as assigned by his unit, Lieutenant Luc, in a prompt fashion, accompanied Tram to the would-be-mother’s house for support.
Lieutenant Luc actively worked as an assistant to Tam during the delivery. After 30 minutes of great effort, the baby was born in the family's burst of happiness.
It is known that the woman’s family is very poor, Lieutenant Luc and Tram donate some of their money as a gift to the newborn baby.
