Following approval by the Da Nang government, the student hall of residence at 8 Ha Van Tinh, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, will be temporarily turned into a new field hospital for COVID-19 treatment.

Officers and men from the Da Nang Military High Command are seen urgently doing the cleanups to make room for the opening of the field hospital.

This is the city's newest field hospital set up to treat future COVID-19 patients in the city and it will become the third campus of the Da Nang General Hospital.

All students staying in the domitory in Lien Chieu District have already moved to another one in Ngu Hanh Son District to the east of the city.

Officers and men from the Da Nang Military High Command assist the displaced students in transporting their personal belongings down to the ground for the movement to the Ngu Hanh Son District-based dormitory.

As reported, a total of 100 officers and men from the Da Nang Military High Command have deployed to the dormitory to help the displaced students transport their personal belongings down to the ground for the movement to the Ngu Hanh Son District-based accommodation.

According to the municipal Department of Health, the new 2,000-patient bed field hospital will meet the compulsory regulations of the Ministry of Health, with emergency rooms for critically ill patients.
