Midwife and market stall holder infected with COVID-19

The Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has announced a list 60 new coronavirus cases confirmed on Monday, August 9, of which, 51 were in managed isolation and the rest were detected in local lockdown areas,

Amongst the infected, there were two patients with highly concerning epidemiological factors. One is a 42-years- old midwife residing in Lien Chieu District and a 44-year-old clothing stall holder at the Nai Hien Dong Market, Son Tra District.

Around 8:00am on August 6, the female midwife went to the Hoa Khanh Nam Market in Lien Chieu District. Earlier on July 29, this woman had a negative RT-PCR test result.

Meanwhile, the stall holder also tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 on July 31. On August 2, she went to a grocery store near a facility at 2 Nai Thinh 6 Street, Nai Hien Dong Ward, Son Tra District.

Anyone who accidentally came to the locations visited by COVID-19 patients as below should immediately contact the nearest medical facility for what to do.
