Send-off ceremony for Da Nang healthcare workers deployed to HCMC

The C Hospital in Da Nang on Thursday morning held a send-off ceremony for its healthcare workers who are deployed to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the worst-hit locality in Viet Nam, to help it in the battle against COVID-19.

The dispatched team consists of 15 doctors, 30 nurses and 5 medical technicians who experience in dealing with coronavirus pandemic, especially treating COVID-19 patients. They will work at the Tan Phu District Emergency Operations Centre where critically ill patients with COVID-19 are being treated.

Doctor Nguyen Trong Thien, the Director of the C Hospital Da Nang expressed his belief that all of the dispatched medical team members would do their utmost within their potential and capabilities to help HCMC to successfully fight and contain the deadly disease.
