Sixty-five more COVID-19 patients in Da Nang discharged from hospital
Sixty-five more people in Da Nang have been given their medical all clear after COVID-19 infections. They left the field hospital, the Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang Medical Centre on Thursday, August 26, after making a full recovery from the illness.
All patients’ clinical status is appropriate for discharge, and assessed to have stable and recovering respiratory function.
They have made a full recovery following three negative tests for the virus, 24 hours apart. They are no longer contagious and pose no risk to the public.
After discharge, the recoveries will undergo a-14 day self- isolation at home and COVID-19 testing in line with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.
Currently, 1,522 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 308 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 91 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 1,921 people, including 55 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 178 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 59 others came back negative twice.
