Where did 2 coronavirus-catching male drivers confirmed on August 26 visit?
The Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has released a list of epidemiological locations linked to coronavirus patients confirmed in the city on August 26, of whom two were male drivers.
One is a 28- year- old man, residing in Thanh Khe District, working as the driver for the S.H. Beauty Salon. Around 9:00am on August 20, he visited a grocery store at 236 Tran Cao Van, opposite the alley No. 254 Tran Cao Van, Thanh Khe District.
He was subject to the sampling for COVID-19 testing due to living in the same neighbourhood with an previously –confirmed patient.
The other is 50-year-old driver, a native of the central coastal province of Quang Ngai. He returned from the southern province of Dong Nai, one of the COVID-19 hotspots in Viet Nam, tested positive for the virus via a rapid antigen test at a checkpoint whilst he was driving across the Da Nang land,
It is highly recommended that anyone who visited at the above-mentioned locations at specific times should monitor their health and contact the nearest medical facility for advice and requirements.
