170 more patients in Da Nang come home following COVID-19 recovery
A total of 170 more people were discharged from a field hospital set up at a dormitory to the west of the city, the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, on Saturday, September 4, after full COVID-19 recovery.

All of them were given the all-clear following three consecutive negative test results, and they show overall stable status, vital signs, normal organ function and improved chest X-ray readings.
Upon the discharge, the recoveries must complete 14 days isolation at home, and undergo COVID-19 testing in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s regulations.
The day’s figure has brought the city’s total recovery tally to 980 since August 25.
Three patient died of COVID-19 complications on the same day, pushing the total death toll in the city to 42 since the beginning of this year.
Currently, a total of 2, 004 infected patients are hospitalised for treatment, 1,736 of whom are being treated at the field hospital, whilst 180 at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre and 92 at the Da Nang Lung Hospital.
Of the total patients, 75 are requiring critical care, 369 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 115 others came back negative twice.
