40 more patients in Da Nang discharged to home following COVID-19 recovery
40 more people were released from the field hospital in the west of the city, the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre on Friday, September 24, after being treated for COVID-19.
With this, the number of patients that have been discharged from Da Nang hospitals after recovering from coronavirus has hit 2,570 since August 25.
One patient died of COVID-19 complications on September 24, bringing the total death toll in Da Nang to 66 since the beginning of 2021.
Currently, 533 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 17 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 44 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 594 people, including 25 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 72 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 35 others came back negative twice.
At present, there are 999 people who are being placed under quarantine in 22 designated facilities across the city.
A total of 14 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 865 families with 3,210 people are being placed under full lockdown.
