43 more patients in Da Nang discharged to home following COVID-19 recovery

43 more people were released from the field hospital in the west of the city, the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre on Saturday, September 11, after being treated for COVID-19.

With this, the number of patients that have been discharged from Da Nang hospitals after recovering from coronavirus has hit 1,724 since August 25.

Two patients died of COVID-19 complications on September 11, bringing the total death toll in Da Nang to 55 since the beginning of 2021.

Currently, 1,276 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 85 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 63 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.

Overall, 1,424 people, including 51 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 105 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 37 others came back negative twice.

At present, there are 995 people who are being placed under quarantine in 32 designated facilities across the city. A total of 231 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones.

Between 1:00 p.m. on October 10 to the morning of September 11, 19,971 doses of COVID-19 vaccines on September 6 were administered in Da Nang, bringing the total number of doses administered citywide till date to 337,976, of which, 280,695 people received the first dose while 57,275 others got their second shot.
