76 new COVID-19 recoveries recorded in Da Nang on Sept. 26

Da Nang recorded 76 recoveries on Sunday, September 26, taking total recoveries to 2,683 since August 25, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in its latest COVID-19 bulletin said.

Among hospital discharges in Da Nang on Sunday are four senior citizens aged 60, 63, 66 and 86.

All the doctors, nurses from the Da Nang Lung Hospital gave their best in the successful treatment of these elderly patients with underlying medical conditions.

One patient died of COVID-19 complications on September 26, bringing the total death toll in Da Nang to 69 since the beginning of 2021.

Currently, 444 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 17 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 36 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.

Overall, 497 people, including 19 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 46 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 82 others came back negative twice.

At present, there are 952 people who are being placed under quarantine in 21 designated facilities across the city.

A total of 12 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 572 families with 1,968 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.
