As per instructions of the Da Nang Immunisation Steering Committee, vaccinations against COVID-19 for local residents previously slated for Saturday and Sunday were postponed amid the typhoon Conson heading towards the coast off the city.
The postponement of the vaccination schedules aims to ensure the ultimate safety of the local people.
Based on the practical developments of the typhoon, the new injection schedules will be announced by the competent authorities as soon as possible.
Over recent days, Da Nang has conducted the administration of COVID-19 for eligible people. Previously, on September 9, Da Nang received another 204,354 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine from the Ministry of Health.
