Da Nang border guards has worked with relevant forces to handle and impose fines of VND 51.5 million on 5 cases involving 7 people for breaching the city’s COVID-19 rules.

In addition, since the start of the year, local residents have provided border guard officers with more than 120 information sources, of which, over 80 related to expats in the city, crimes, illegal acts of evading COVID-19 checkpoints, large gatherings, breaches of social distancing rules, illegal fishing with electrofishing devices in the river and more, in an attempt to assist in the fight against the deadly disease and ensure security in Da Nang amid COVID-19 crisis.
