Da Nang documents 2 coronavirus cases on Sept.30, both in managed isolation
Da Nang recorded 2 new case of COVID-19 today, September 30, both of which were detected in designated quarantine facilities. The city has, therefore, seen no new community transmission cases for 4 days in a row.
The aforementioned cases were linked to a previously-confirmed COVID-19- infected worker in the Lien Chieu District-based Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, the municipal Steering Board for COVID-19 Prevention and Control confirmed.
This chain of infection has recorded 17 cases so far, and it has been brought under control.
Till date, 51 out of the total 56 communes and wards citywide have been labelled as ‘green zones’ where neither community-acquired cases nor locked-down sites have been logged over the past 14 days as follow:
Hoa Vang District: the communes of Hoa Bac, Hoa Khuong, Hoa Tien, Hoa Phu, Hoa Lien, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Phong, Hoa Phuoc, Hoa Ninh and Hoa Chau.
Son Tra District: the wards of An Hai Bac, Man Thai, An Hai Tay, Phuoc My, Nai Hien Dong, Tho Quang, and An Hai Dong.
Ngu Hanh Son District: the wards of Hoa Quy, Hoa Hai, My An and Khue My.
Hai Chau District: the wards of Phuoc Ninh, Nam Duong, Hai Chau 1, Hoa Cuong Nam, Binh Hien, Hoa Thuan Dong, Hoa Thuan Tay, Hoa Cuong Bac, Thach Thang, Hai Chau 2, and Thanh Binh.
Thanh Khe District: the wards of Hoa Khe, Thanh Khe Dong, Thac Gian, Chinh Gian, Xuan Ha, An Khe, Thanh Khe Tay, Tan Chinh, Vinh Trung and Tam Thuan.
Cam Le District: the wards of Khue Trung, Hoa Tho Tay, Hoa Phat, Hoa Tho Dong, Hoa Xuan and Hoa An.
Lien Chieu District: the wards of Hoa Minh, Hoa Hiep Nam and Hoa Hiep Bac.
Since July 10 when the current COVID-19 wave started in Da Nang, 4,666 active cases have been documented citywide.
