Da Nang latest COVID-19 recovery updates: 37 new recoveries on Sept. 25
The Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Saturday, September 25, recorded an additional 37 recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In its latest case bulletin, the Committee said this pushed the recovery tally to 2,607 since August 25.
Two patient died of COVID-19 complications on September 25, bringing the total death toll in Da Nang to 68 since the beginning of 2021.
Currently, 508 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 16 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 42 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 566 people, including 21 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 98 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 41 others came back negative twice.
At present, there are 954 people who are being placed under quarantine in 23 designated facilities across the city.
A total of 12 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 651 families with 2,448 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.
Till date, a total of 746,406 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Da Nang. So far, 734.136 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Da Nang, of which, 652,174 people or 78.9% of the city’s adult population received the first dose while 81, 962 or 9.9% of the city’s adult population others got their second shot.
