Da Nang leader urges to vaccinate entire population of Ngu Hanh Son District, including foreigners

During his onsite visit to Ngu Hanh Son District on Thursday afternoon to check its COVID-19 vaccine rollout, municipal People's Council Vice Chairman Le Minh Trung urged local authorities and relevant agencies to create a list of expats and immigrant students in the District who have yet to be vaccinated. The intention is to ensure that the entire population of this district, including expats and immigrant students, have had their first dose of a COVID vaccination as soon as possible as part of the city’s mass vaccination programme.

Vice Chairman Trung praised Ngu Hanh Son District for their efforts in rolling out COVID-19 vaccines to local adults in safe and effective practices in line with the guidance from the Ministry of Health.

He called Ngu Hanh Son District authorities to continue efforts to administer COVID vaccines for all adults in a safe manner.

As planned, a total of 21,150 people across Ngu Hanh Son District will be immunised with the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine during the city’s mass vaccination drive from September 16 to 21. The vaccinations are being be carried out at the Ngu Hanh Son District Cultural House and Tran Dai Nghia Junior High School. As of September 15, 21,314 out of 60,505 people in the district had been vaccinated, of whom, 14,773 had received the first dose while 6,541 others got their second shot.
