Da Nang logs 60 new recoveries
The Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Wednesday, September 22, recorded an additional 60 recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In its latest case bulletin, the Committee said this pushed the recovery tally to 2,501 since August 25.
One patient died of COVID-19 complications on September 22, bringing the total death toll in Da Nang to 65 since the beginning of 2021.
Currently, 574 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 30 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 51 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 655 people, including 30 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 47 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 62 others came back negative twice.
At present, there are 1,163 people who are being placed under quarantine in 24 designated facilities across the city.
A total of 22 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 1,087 families with 4,253 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.
To date, a total of 684,356 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Da Nang. So far, 637,015 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Da Nang, of which, 558,963 people received the first dose while 78,052 others got their second shot.
