Secretary Quang stated that Da Nang has marked 2 days without community transmission of COVID-19, following the news that there are no new cases outside locked down areas and mananged isolation. The municipal administration will look at the result of the seventh round of mass testing which will be rolled out across the city today, September 14 to make adjustments to current measures.

He highlighted need to educate the public aiming for full compliance with the recommended preventative measures after the relaxed restrictions come effect.

Municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh remarked that planned easements set to go ahead from September 15, marking a milestone as the city moves into a new phase of pandemic life.

The city government leader called on officials and every one across Da Nang to keep following the current direction and recommendations from the municipal administration.

Mr Chinh urged relevant agencies to take all necessary measures to provide timely help for individuals and businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis in efforts to assist them though this difficult time.
