Da Nang's COVID-19 infections stand at 63 on Sept.6, no new community acquired cases detected
Da Nang recorded 63 COVID-19 cases on Monday, September 6, of which, 26 were in found in designated quarantine facilities, 2 were self-isolating at home and 35 were identified in locked down areas. Encouragingly, no new community transmission case was recorded in Da Nang today.
In particular, the aforementioned 2 patients found whilst self-isolating at home had completed their 14-day stay at the city’s designated quarantine facilities, residing in An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District and Hoa An Ward, Cam Le District, respectively.
As calculated, the infection cluster linked to the ‘one door- one test’ campaign is now still at a high risk of further COVID-19 spread with 48 cases documented on Monday.
Amongst the local districts, Thanh Khe recorded the highest number of 45, followed by Hai Chau and Cam Le with 6 each, Lien Chieu with 4, Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son with 1 each.
Currently, there are 17 out of the total 56 wards and communes across the city without community-acquired cases for 14 consecutive days, namely the Hoa Bac, Hoa Khuong, Hoa Tien, Hoa Phu, Hoa Lien, Hoa Nhon and Hoa Phong in Hoa Vang District, the An Hai Bac, Man Thai, An Hai Tay, Phuoc My, Nai Hien Dong and Tho Quang wards in Son Tra District, Hoa Quy Ward in Ngu Hanh Son District, and the Phuoc Ninh, Nam Duong and Hai Chau 1 wards in Hai Chau District.
The city’s COVID-19 infection tally in the ongoing wave has hit 4,401 since July 10.
