Da Nang's COVID-19 recoveries reach 2,011 since August 25
An additional 75 patients beat the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Wednesday, September 15, pushing Da Nang’s overall recovery count to 2,011 since August 25, the Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in its latest COVID-19 bulletin said.
Currently, 1,060 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 62 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 59 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 1,181 people, including 45 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 137 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 82 others came back negative twice.
At present, there are 832 people who are being placed under quarantine in 26 designated facilities across the city. A total of 58 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones.
The health agency on September 15 conducted mass testing for 100,282 people across Da Nang, of whom, 97,437 got PCR tests for COVID-19 while the remainder underwent rapid antigen testing.
To date, a total of 543,956 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Da Nang. So far, 372,883 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Da Nang, of which, 300,988 people received the first dose while 71,895 others got their second shot.
