Da Nang's daily COVID-19 infections stand at 13 on Sept.13, zero community transmission for 2 consecutive days
Da Nang confirmed 13 COVID-19 cases on Monday, September 13, of which 12 were in found in the designated quarantine facilities and the remaining one was identified in a locked down area located in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District.
Notably, like Sunday, Monday also saw no new community transmission case.
In particular, the aforementioned locally-acquired patients were all linked to previously confirmed patients who had been found via the ongoing ‘one door- one test’ campaign with testing applied to household representatives.
As calculated, out the total 13 new cases, 10 were documented in Thanh Khe District, 2 in Lien Chieu District, and the remaining one in Hai Chau District.
Notably, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, Cam Le and Hoa Vang districts recorded no new cases on Monday.
The number of wards/communes labelled as ‘green zones” at a low risk of COVID-19 spread, without community-acquired cases for 14 consecutive days, has climbed to 24.
They are the wards of An Hai Bac, An Hai Tay, Man Thai, Phuoc My, Nai Hien Dong and Tho Quang in Son Tra District, the wards of Hoa Quy, My An and Hoa Hai Ngu Hanh Son District, the wards of Nam Duong, Phuoc Ninh, Hai Chau 1 and Hoa Cuong Nam in Hai Chau District, the wards of Hoa Khe, Thanh Khe Dong and Thac Gian in Thanh Khe District, and the Hoa Bac, Hoa Khuong, Hoa Tien, Hoa Phu, Hoa Lien, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Phong, Hoa Phuoc communes in Hoa Vang District.
The city’s COVID-19 infection tally in the ongoing wave has climbed to 4,574 since July 10.
