More restrictions to be dropped in Da Nang from Sept. 30
Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Tuesday afternoon announced that more restrictions will be lifted in the city from 0am tomorrow, September 30 but a number of restrictions will remain.

Strict stay-at-home order remains in effect for red zones where new COVID-19 community cases have been detected and full lockdown are being imposed.
The changes to restrictions for yellow and green zones will see residents able to access to all beaches within the allowed time frame, hair cutting services, wet markets, as well as attend meetings in businesses and agencies and religious activities but with significant capacity limits.
No more than 20 persons can gather for such indoor events as meetings, training courses, seminars, in agencies, organizations and businesses. The public can attend these events in person subject to all masking and distancing requirements.
A ceiling of 100 persons will apply in the above-mentioned events but requiring that all of the participants have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 6 months.
Indoor gatherings for religious services to be conducted in a place of worship will be permitted where no more than a total of 30 people are gathered.
Serviced accommodation establishments can also reopen at 30% capacity, and these venues will be capped at 50% capacity but requiring that all of their guests have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 6 months.
The city will allow public passenger transport services by road and inland waterways to resume operations at not more than 50% capacity.
50% capacity cap will put on traditional markets but stallholders and patrons must subject to all masking and distancing requirements. In addition, stallholders and staff at wet markets must have received one COVID-19 vaccine dose at least 14 days or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 6 months.
Residents can go shopping for food items at wet markets every 3 days, and they will be only allowed entry into these venues in accordance with permitted dates on their QR code entry cards.
Wearing face shields over masks will be recommended for stallholders and patrons for maximizing their protection against coronavirus.
Delivery staff and app-based shippers must meet the requirements of the Da Nang government. They must have received one COVID-19 vaccine dose at least 14 days or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 6 months. In addition, they must wear personal protective clothing, use standard face masks, anti-droplet goggles, gloves, and hand sanitizer during their shipping process.
There will be restrictions on the number of people that can take part in sport and physical activity, indoors and outdoors, not exceeding 20.
Beaches will be allowed to reopen to the public with some restrictions from Thursday, September 30. Swimming will be permitted at beaches from 4.30 am to not later than 6:30am.
Swimming will be only permitted in the designated areas. Bans on gatherings, drinking and eating, selling food, on the beaches will still remain in place.
All of the beach-goers must strictly comply with mandatory safety measures against the deadly virus, including wearing face masks before and after swimming, only taking off masks whilst swimming, keeping a distance of at least 1m from others, avoiding spending time in crowded places or in groups during their strolls and physical activities on beaches.
The beach showers will remain closed until further notice, along with catering and other services on beachfront parks and pavements in all sidewalks of beaches are still banned. Street vendors are prohibited from touting for business along beaches.
Owners and staff of hair salons must have received one COVID-19 vaccine dose at least 14 days. Maximum capacity of clients inside the salon at any one time will not exceed 3.
No more than 20 people can attend a funeral, and a funeral service must not last exceeding 48 hours of the person's passing with strict health and safety measures in place under close observation from local authorities.
Compliance with the 5K recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the use of QR codes will be compulsory for crowded venues.
Agencies, organizations, and businesses will be only allowed to reopen with the proper safety measures in place in line with the guidance from the Ministry of Health in order to prevent and mitigate COVID-19 at work. Using a QR code for visitor management will be made mandatory in businesses, shopping centres and services.
People entering and leaving Da Nang must complete a health control form online on the city-developed app and obtain their QR Code, to show it at the control points upon entry and exit.
Entertainment venues, such as karaoke bars, saunas, night clubs, discos, massage parlors, movie theatres will remain closed. In addition, walking streets, night markets, swimming pools, and indoor fitness classes, along with in-person classes will continue to be suspended.
The ban on indoor dinning, weddings and other parties will remain in effect.
