The Da Nang Department of Education and Training has announced that the city has postponed the scheduled November 11 roll out of COVID-19 immunisation for Years 8 and 9 students. Therefore, the immunisation programme for 34,696 eligible students will not be carried out in the city from November 11-17 was planned earlier.

The reason for the postponement of the immunisation programme for these students is incomplete update of the students’ identification codes on the National Immunisation Management System.

The immunisation programme for Years 8 and 9 students will be rolled out in Da Nang as soon as the city completes the update of their identification codes.

The departments of Health, Education and Training along with Police will work together to ramp up their efforts to provide COVID-19 vaccine to these people as soon as possible.
