A 35-year-old man in Da Nang has been arrested and prosecuted for forging documents and seals to take the money illegally from an establishment where he worked in under a provisional warrant issued by Da Nang Police.

The arrest is Le Quoc Huy, a resident of Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District.

Huy is found guilty after police officers have collected evidence to prove that he is charged with making fake documents and seals.

Between February 2020 and March 2021, he took advantage of his position as a salesman of the Da Nang Viettronimex Electronic Supermarket to arbitrarily contact with Viettronimex's partners to get money from them to buy electronic devices and refrigeration products but did not submit the amount he got to the establishment where he worked in. Illegal appropriated amount is worth nearly VND 350 million.

In an attempt to cover up his fraudulent activities, Huy forged the seals of two companies and faked their signatures to make debt validation letters and minutes from their reconciliation meeting to submit to the Da Nang Viettronimex Electronic Supermarket.

The investigation is still underway.
