On Wednesday, the Hung Yen Province-headquartered Huy Hoang Eco Environment JSC handed over a field hospital wastewater treatment system to the Da Nang Department of Health, the Da Nang Hospital and the municipal Water Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company.

The medical wastewater treatment system was built and put into use at the COVID-19 field hospital No. 1 at the Student Hall of Residence in the west of the city located at 507 Nguyen Luong Bang Street, Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District in July 2021.

Due to the high volume of medical wastewater, the company has increased the daily treatment capacity of the whole system to a maximum of 350m³ from 100-150m³ since early September 2021.

Mr. Le Cong Hung, a representative of the Huy Hoang Eco Environment JSC, informed that his company donated the medical wastewater treatment system, valued at VND 15 billion in total, including costs of operation, microorganisms, yeast and chemicals costs, to the city.

As planned, the Huy Hoang Eco Environment JSC handed over the system to Da Nang on October 30, 2021 but it has still helped the city maintain the operation of the system until now in an effort to share difficulties with the city in its battle against COVID-19.
