The Da Nang People's Committee has given the go-ahead to the spending of more than VND24 billion from the municipal budget on creating an electronic civil status database in Da Nang so as to synchronise itself to the national electronic civil status database system.

Focus will be on digitising all civil status data in the city before April 15, 2019, putting additional data into civil status management software of the municipal Department of Justice and checking all additionally entered data for ensuring 100% accuracy. All scanned files are electronically signed by relevant agencies.

The aforementioned project will be developed by the municipal Department of Justice by late 2022.
