By setting up two pages "People of Ta Lang Village" and "People of Gian Bi Village" on Facebook, the People's Committees of Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages, which have more than 95% of Co Tu people living in the Hoa Bac Commune, has managed the work effectively to bring convenience and ease to people in all fields.

The Facebook page "People of Gian Bi Village" was established by the People's Committee of the village with the purpose of announcing new information such as calling people to clean up, the time frame of meetings, COVID-19 vaccination schedule, storms and floods, Co Tu ethnic language courses.
According to Mr Dinh Van Khen, residing in Gian Bi Village, it was difficult for him to grasp new information and announcements because he works all day. But now he just needs to use his phone to be able to update specific information and announcements easily and quickly.
As shared by Mr Tran Xuan Trung, Head of the People's Committee of Gian Bi Village, the application of technology in the management of work at the grassroots has brought remarkable results when compared to previous years. In addition to the information posted on pages and groups on social networks, the People's Committee of Gian Bi village combines motorbikes around the village and uses loudspeakers to announce the upcoming policies to ensure that locals receive timely information.
Similarly, the Facebook page "People of Ta Lang Village" was established by the People's Committee of the village to connect and gather locals here. Previously, every time there was a new policy or announcement, the Committee had to visit people's houses to inform, capture their thoughts and aspirations as well as solve problems (if any). Currently, the application of technology helps the Committee to effectively implement its work. Therefore, people can quickly grasp information and policies, especially information related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the time being, the repair and upgrading of DT601 road needs to be concerned urgently since the seriously degraded road surface has caused difficulty in traveling for people of the two villages. Therefore, the formation of facebook pages partly reduces the burden of going from house to house to issue invitations and mobilize people to participate important meetings.
Mr Ho Phu Thanh, Vice Chairman of Hoa Bac Commune People's Committee affirmed that Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages’ Heads are dynamic and agile in applying technology to work management and administration. They are young people so they can catch up with science and technology quickly to guide and convey information to the people enthusiastically.
Thanks to that, most of the Co Tu people are now proficient in using smartphones and social networking sites, keeping up with the guidelines and policies of the Party and laws of the State. As the result, Co Tu people are more and more aware and catches up with the general development of other villages in the commune, as well as the whole city.
