Da Nang locals join environmental cleanups to welcome in Tet
Hundreds of Youth Union members, veterans and women in Da Nang on Saturday flocked to streets in clean up the environment and adore public places with eye-catching decorations in a bustling vibes to welcome in the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022 festival which is approaching.

A total of more than 200 Youth Union members enthusiastically participated in cleanups along five street sections along the banks of the Phu Loc River which flows through Thanh Khe Tay Ward, Thanh Khe District.
The activity aimed to give a facelift to the landscape and environment surrounding the river and promote environmental protection initiatives among Youth Union members, youths and the whole community at large.

On the same day, the Da Nang Veterans' Environmental Protection Clubs in the districts of Thanh Khe, Hai Chau and Ngu Hanh Son came out to clean up the streets of Tran Tong, Ton That Tung and Nguyen Chi Thanh, along with sidewalks, the campuses of community activities and public places.
In a similar vein, the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company mobilised human resources and means of transport to handle venues heavily burdened with a lot of bulky garbage and domestic waste along such streets as Nguyen Huy Chuong, Hoa Son 2, Nguyen Xien, Le Van Hien, Tu Mo, Dinh Liet and Tan Trao.
