During his Tet trip to the Da Nang Lung Hospital, Secretary Quang highly appreciated the great efforts made by its medical staff and support forces in ensuring the effective treatment of patients infected with COVID-19.

Over the past 2 years, the hospital's staff have always tried their best to treat severe coronavirus cases with underlying medical conditions and minimise the number of deaths, thereby making an important contribution to the city’s COVID-19 containment journey.

As evaluated by the city’s Party chief, the city is still witnessing the complicated developments of COVID-19 with an increasing caseload, which is putting great pressure on the city’s treatment capacity, especially for elderly people, those with underlying diseases and others who have not yet vaccination against COVID-19.

It is highly recommended that the hospital’s medical team continue to make their utmost to overcome any hardships and difficulties and find the best possible solutions to minimise the number of deaths caused by this highly contagious disease.

The city’s top leader also suggested that the health sector and the municipal administration pay more attention to enhancing professional work and physical conditions as well, especially in service for the treatment of COVID-19-contracting patients.

Whistling extending Tet greetings to the city’s field hospital located in the Lien Chieu District-based western dormitory complex, Secretary Quang highly appreciated encouraging achievements recorded by its medical staff in the treatment of COVID-19.

He urged the hospital staff to exert more efforts in the treatment of COVID-19 to contribute to fulfilling the city’s target of protecting all at-risk subjects and preventing them from becoming seriously ill.

During his Tet visit to the mobile medical station of An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District, Secretary Quang highly lauded the proactive, creative and effective implementation of the model amidst the safe and flexible adaption to COVID-19.

For the time being, given the fact that the city is focusing on promoting home-based treatment of COVID-19, the role and responsibilities of mobile medical stations are very necessary and important.

Besides, it is highly recommended that the Son Tra District Medical Centre continue to pay attention to human resources and facilities to facilitate the mobile medical forces to operate in an effective manner in the coming time.

On the part of the city's healthcare sector, it is necessary to give professional guidance for such mobile medical teams for the sake of their effective work performances.

On the same day, the city leader also extended Tet wishes to the Hoa Khanh Bac Ward’s Medical Station I Lien Chieu District.
