The Environmental Police Division under the Da Nang Police Department is launching proceedings against the P.G restaurant located on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Hai Chau District for the act of causing noise. As reported, the noise exceeded the threshold, adversely affecting people's lives.

Previously, in response to residents’ feedback, at 10.00 pm on January 15, the Da Nang Environmental Police Division partnered with the Central Institute of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Protection and the Hoa Cuong Nam authorities in Hai Chau District to measure the noise emitted from the restaurant P.G.

The results of the measurements by specialised machines showed that the noise coming form the above-mentioned restaurant exceeded the Vietnamese standard 26:2010/BTNMT adopted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The competent agency made a record of the incident in the presence of representatives of the police and local authorities, and completed the case file according to the regulations.

According to scientific experts, noise pollution can have long-term impacts, such as loss of hearing. It can also lead to sleeping disorders and high blood pressure, while children can suffer cognitive impairment.
