The Da Nang-based Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) under state-run Electricity of Viet Nam has deducted VND3.5 billion from its welfare fund to build gratitude houses for needy families in 13 provinces and cities in Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions.

EVNCPC has urged 13 electricity companies and the Central Regional Electricity Service Company to coordinate with local authorities to identify those in a desperate need of assistance.

The supportive move showed a tradition of mutual affection and love that EVNCPC has carried out regularly and continuously for many years.

Most recently, EVNCPC has spent VND3 billion on buying medical protective equipment and antibacterial masks for provinces and cities in Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions in support of their fights against COVID-19.
