On Tuesday, 1,393 COVID-19 patients in Da Nang were given the all-clear from this highly contagious disease, of whom 1,278 were treated at home and the remaining 115 ones recovered at healthcare facilities.

On the day’s count, 115 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19, including the Da Nang Lung Hospital with 20 recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 32, the Field Hospital with 61 and the C Hospital and the Da Nang Maternity and Paediatrics with one each.

Currently, a total of 1,011 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 243 are severely ill.

Also on Tuesday, a total of 1,278 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease, of whom 239 dwell in Hai Chau District, 275 in Thanh Khe, 334 in Son Tra, 19 in Ngu Hanh Son, 167 in Lien Chieu and 244 in Cam Le.

For the time being, 15,976 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 11,052 are asymptomatic and 4,924 are mild.

Up to now, 41,779 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 25,223 of them have recovered.

Till date, 2,293,545 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 981,697 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 965,986 have got two and 319,575 have accessed three.

On Tuesday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 732 COVID-19 cases, of which 572 were acquired in the community.
