1,457 COVID-19 recoveries documented in Da Nang on Feb.16
On Wednesday, 1,457 COVID-19 patients in Da Nang were given the all-clear from this highly contagious disease, of whom 1,385 were treated at home and the remaining 72 ones recovered at healthcare facilities.
On the day’s count, 72 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19, including the Da Nang Lung Hospital with 17 recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 3, the Field Hospital with 48 and the C Hospital with 4.
Currently, a total of 1,058 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 246 are severely ill.
Also on Wednesday, a total of 1,385 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease, of whom 145 dwell in Hai Chau District, 342 in Thanh Khe, 277 in Son Tra, 182 in Ngu Hanh Son, 235 in Cam Le and 204 in Hoa Vang.
At present, 16,596 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 9,600 are asymptomatic and 6,996 are mild.
Up to now, 44,280 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 26,608 of them have recovered.
Till date, 2,305,213 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 981,774 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 965,986 have got two and 356,841 have accessed three.
On Wednesday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 743 COVID-19 cases, of which 624 were acquired in the community.
