Sunday reported 2,183 recoveries from COVID-19 in Da Nang, of which 2.101 were documented during home-based treatment and the remaining 82 ones were reported at healthcare facilities citywide.

A total of 82 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19 on Sunday, namely the Da Nang Lung Hospital with 10 recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 20, the Field Hospital with 43 and the C Hospital with 2 and the Da Nang Family Hospital with 7. 

Currently, a total of 1,198 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 277 are severely ill.

On the day, a total of 2,101 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.

At present, 21,340 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 13,930 are asymptomatic and 7,416 are mild.

Up to now, 58,052 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 35,971of them have recovered from the highly contagious disease.

Till date, 2,353,389 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 982,615 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 967,785 have got two and 402,989 have accessed three.

On Sunday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 719 COVID-19 cases, of which 643 were acquired in the community.
