732 new COVID-19 cases, 2,792 recoveries documented in Da Nang on Feb.18
On Friday, 2,792 COVID-19 patients in Da Nang were given the all-clear from this highly contagious disease, of whom 2,660 were treated at home and the remaining 132 ones recovered at healthcare facilities.
A total of 132 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19 on Friday, including the Da Nang Lung Hospital with 7 recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 15, the Field Hospital with 82 and the Da Nang General Hospital with 2, the Da Nang Maternity and Paedicatrics Hospital with 13, the Son Tra Medical Centre with 10 and the Da Nang Family Hospital with 1.
Currently, a total of 1,139 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 273 are severely ill.
On the day, a total of 2,660 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.
At present, 18,539 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 11,490 are asymptomatic and 7,041 are mild.
Up to now, 50,630 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 31,425 of them have recovered.
Till date, 2,311,852 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 982,177 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 967,376 have got two and 362,299 have accessed three.
On Friday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 732 COVID-19 cases, of which 684 were acquired in the community.
