741 new COVID-19 infections, 2,568 recoveries logged in Da Nang on Feb.19
Saturday logged 2,568 recoveries from COVID-19 in Da Nang, of which 2,445 were documented during home-based treatment and the remaining 123 ones were reported at healthcare facilities citywide.
A total of 123 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19 on Saturday, including the Da Nang Lung Hospital with 15 recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 26, the Field Hospital with 69 and the C Hospital with 4, the Da Nang Maternity and Paedicatrics Hospital with 1, the Son Tra Medical Centre with 5 and the Da Nang Family Hospital with 3.
Currently, a total of 1,139 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 262 are severely ill.
On the day, a total of 2,445 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.
At present, 19,510 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 12,734 are asymptomatic and 6,786 are mild.
Up to now, 54,080 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 33.870 of them have recovered from the highly contagious disease.
Till date, 2,325,955 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 982,560 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 967,604 have got two and 375,791 have accessed three.
On Saturday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 741 COVID-19 cases, of which 642 were acquired in the community.
