907 new coronavirus infections, 2,885 recoveries logged in Da Nang on Feb.21
Monday reported 2,885 recoveries from COVID-19 in Da Nang, of which 2,749 were documented during home-based treatment and the remaining 136 ones were reported at healthcare facilities citywide.
A total of 136 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19 on Monday, namely the Da Nang Lung Hospital with 10 recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 12, the Field Hospital with 109, the Son Tra Medical Centre with three and the Da Nang Family Hospital with two.
Currently, a total of 1,441 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 260 are severely ill.
On the day, a total of 2,749 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.
At present, 23,063 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 14,729 are asymptomatic and 8,455 are mild.
Up to now, 62,541 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 38,720 of them have recovered from the highly contagious disease.
Till date, 2,361,592 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 982,834 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 967,794 have got two and 410,964 have accessed three.
On Monday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 907 COVID-19 cases, of which 797 were acquired in the community.
