978 new COVID-19 infections, 3,118 recoveries documented in Da Nang on Feb.27
Sunday logged 3,118 recoveries from COVID-19 in Da Nang, of which 2,954 were documented during home-based treatment and the remaining 164 ones were reported at healthcare facilities citywide.
A total of 164 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19 on Sunday, namely the Da Nang Lung Hospital with six recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with five, the Field Hospital with 99, the C Hospital, the C Hospital and the Da Nang General Hospital with one each, the Hai Chau, Ngu Hanh Son and Son Tra medical centres with seven and the Da Nang Family Hospital with 45.
Currently, a total of 1,758 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 314 are severely ill.
On the day, a total of 2,954 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.
Currently, 42,532 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 24,632 are asymptomatic and 17,898 are mild.
Till date, 100,671 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 57,065 of them have recovered from the highly contagious disease.
2,381,046 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 983,021 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 967,967 have got two and 430,058 have accessed three.
On Sunday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 978 COVID-19 cases, of which 933 were acquired in the community.
