986 new COVID-19 infections, 3,659 recoveries reported in Da Nang on Feb.26
Saturday logged 3,659 recoveries from COVID-19 in Da Nang, of which 3,500 were documented during home-based treatment and the remaining 159 ones were reported at healthcare facilities citywide.
A total of 159 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19 on Saturday, namely the Da Nang Lung Hospital with nine recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 14, the Field Hospital with 78, the C Hospital with four, the Da Nang General Hospital with one, the Hai Chau and Son Tra medical centres with 24, the Da Nang Oncology Hospital with two, the C17 Military Hospital with one and the Da Nang Family Hospital with 25.
Currently, a total of 1,662 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 305 are severely ill.
On the day, a total of 3,500 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.
Currently, 38,614 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 21,671 are asymptomatic and 10,843 are mild.
Till date, 93,756 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 54,111 of them have recovered from the highly contagious disease.
2,381,046 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 983,021 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 967,967 have got two and 430.058 have accessed three.
On Saturday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 986 COVID-19 cases, of which 895 were acquired in the community.
