Childhood Home full of benevolent hearts
The Childhood Home located in residential group No 23, An Hai Dong Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang is the place where learning, training and playing activities are always bustling.

This place is now home to 61 children from Da Nang and neighbouring Quang Nam Province. Each child has a different life circumstance but has the same opportunity to have a better life thanks to the care and support of benevolent hearts here.
The house is part of the project "Supporting disadvantaged children" implemented since 2010 funded by Orphan Voice, the U.S.
It is invested in building and installing synchronous tools from houses, dinning room, study room, counseling room, multi-purpose sports area.
The children here live in a peaceful, green and loving environment. Beside school hours, they can exercise and enjoy useful entertainment.
Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, who was born in Duy Nghia Commune, Quang Nam Province lost her father at a young age. Her mother was a small trader so her income was low and she often got sick.
Nhu Y was admitted to the Childhood Home in 2010 when she was a 2nd grader and now she is a student at the University of Economics.
“Every day, the nannies and staff take good care of us from nutritious meals, learning conditions to encouragement and sharing our deepest inside feelings. I promise to study hard so that I can graduate from university and get a suitable, stable job worthy of kind hearts," said Nhu Y.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Nhu Minh, Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, was welcomed into the Childhood Home since elementary school.
After graduating from high school, Nhu Minh studied an intermediate vocational program, specialized in baking techniques and got a job at a bakery with a stable income.
"The Childhood Home had nurtured me for more than 10 years, from learning letters to vocational training so that I can have my current life " Minh confided.
In recent years, the Home has had many children studying with excellent results, such as Truong Men, a native of Dai Cuong Commune, Dai Loc District, Quang Nam Province.
On the first day of coming to the Home in 2017, Minh studied as an 8th grader with good academic performance.
Then she had strived to the academic results and won the second prize at the city-level contest for excellent students in History improve in 9th grade. She is currently in Year 12 at Ngo Quyen Senior High School and presents in the school's excellent student team.
In the same vein, Tran Le Quang Trieu, residing in Hoa Phat Ward, Cam Le District has parents having serious illnesses. For many years now, he was raised at the Childhood Home and he has an outstanding academic performance every year with a strong ability to use computers.
"I have a desire to enter the Viet Nam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, the UD to promote my talents," shared Quang Trieu.
The Childhood Home has nurtured and witnessed many children now having a stable life and often returning to visit this place with their deep gratitude. Ms Le Thi Thi from Duy Nghia Commune, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province now works at Alacarte Hotel, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, after many years of being raised here.
"Thanks to being Project "Supporting disadvantaged children" to nurture and provide for knowledge and professional education expenses, I have just been recruited by the hotel with a good salary. I never forget memorable moments at my dear Childhood Home,” shared Thi.
